Built for Continuous Improvement

Measuring learning outcomes in early childhood education can be complex, especially when there are limited tools tailored to the field. Peregrine’s Early Childhood Education Assessment offers a practical solution for programs seeking objective data to support continuous improvement, curriculum refinement, and institutional reporting.

The assessment is delivered fully online and includes topics that reflect key knowledge areas in early childhood education. It is normed, summative, and designed to support program-level evaluation. With our simple setup process, dedicated support, and flexible implementation, you can focus more on improving student learning and less on managing data.

The assessment is available for both associate, bachelor, and master’s level programs.

We make it easy to align the assessment with your program’s needs. Choose from our core Early Childhood Education topics  or provide your own questions and we’ll create a custom topic for you.

  • Choose from 10 Early Childhood Education topics to build an assessment that aligns with your institutional learning outcomes.

Inbound/Outbound Assessment Construct

Peregrine’s Inbound/Outbound assessment construct measures student learning from the beginning to the end of a program. This approach provides a more complete understanding of student achievement.

While many institutions choose to implement both assessments to track growth over time, the model is flexible, and you can use just an Outbound assessment if a single measure better fits your program needs.
