While not intended to measure full competency on its own, it serves as a valuable component within a broader competency-based evaluation strategy.

Inbound/Outbound Assessment Construct
Peregrine’s Inbound/Outbound assessment construct measures student learning from the beginning to the end of a program. This approach provides a longitudinal view of student achievement, supporting outcomes measurement and informing program-level CQI initiatives over time. When both assessments are used, our pairwise report offers a side-by-side comparison of each student’s scores from entry to exit, making it easy to identify individual growth and learning trends.
While many institutions choose to implement both assessments to track growth over time, the model is flexible, and you can use just an Outbound assessment if a single measure better fits your program needs.
